FAQ
Can I go with a friend?
Yes! We can pair you up with a teen buddy, or you can invite a friend to join the program with you.
Will I get Volunteer hours?
Totally. Cteen can sign off on the all the hours you spend with your LINKS partner.
What if I need to miss a Sunday visit?
We get it—life happens. Just try to let your Links partner know at least 48 hours beforehand if you can't make it.
What will I do during the visit?
Don't worry, the time flies by! We'll give you plenty of ideas, like simple games and conversation starters based on upcoming holidays. For example, before Chanukah, you might get a fun dreidel game with "get to know you" questions. Plus, your Links partner will have amazing stories and things to share.
What is the commitment?
Just one hour, once a month. It’s a small commitment that makes a big difference in someone's life, so it's important that we can count on you.
How will I be paired with a LINKS partner?
We'll ask you a few questions about your interests and hobbies to find a great match. We want you to enjoy hanging out with your Links partner!
What if my LINKS partner and I don't click?
This is super rare, but if you feel like it's not a good match, just let us know. We'll work with you to find a solution and make sure your experience is a good one.
Who can I contact if I have a question?
Rabbi Shalom and Bracha are also always available to answer your questions.
